Intro

A while back, I started an annotated, chapter-by-chapter read-along of Hard Chrome, a contemporary MM romance novel set in Greenville, Maine, that I wrote during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. I started by sending each chapter to subscribers on my email newsletter with numbered end notes that revealed some of my inspiration for writing the book and tidbits about my writing process. I also added author notes at the end of each chapter, usually with inspiration images and overall impressions.

At the end, readers got an ebook version of the annotated edition and I created a special edition paperback as well, with holographic foil on the cover and color images on the inside cover flaps.
