Think of England — KJ Charles
Always a fan of KJ Charles, and I've had this on my kindle for ages and it somehow kept slipping down my TBR pile. That's gotta change.
Captain Archie Curtis lost his friends, fingers, and future to a terrible military accident, and he's now at an isolated, ultra-modern country house, determined to discover if he and his comrades were the victims of fate or sabotage.
Daniel da Silva--effete, decadent, foreign, and all-too-obviously queer--is everything Curtis fears and distrusts. But as the house party's elegant facade cracks to reveal treachery, blackmail and murder, Curtis finds himself needing clever, dark-eyed Daniel as he has never needed a man before.
