No 2 in the Will Darling Adventures, as well as in the poll I conducted in September. Haven't had much time for pleasure reading lately, but I do love bookseller and WWI vet Will Darling almost as much as I love shady, disgraced aristocrat Kim Secretan.
When Will encounters a face from the past in a disreputable nightclub, Kim turns up, as shifty, unreliable, and irresistible as ever. And before Will knows it, he's been dragged back into Kim's shadowy world of secrets, criminal conspiracies, and underhand dealings.
