What I'm reading
The Everlasting - Alix E. Harrow

This blend of historical fantasy and time-loop romance follows Una Everlasting, a legendary knight whose true history has been lost to legend, and Owen Mallory, a scholar transported back through time to guide her. Bound to retell the same story over and over again, no matter what it costs, the two must choose whether to rewrite history itself.
I donβt read a whole lot of M/F romance these days and this one isnβt spicy at all but the time-loop aspect was an interesting structural setup. It was a pretty slow start and I almost bailed on it, especially when Owenβs first time in the past with Una ended and I was staring down a repeat of how he comes to be in the past with Una.
But I stuck with it and the author managed to vary the sections where theyβre living through the same events over and over enough to keep it interesting. I didnβt really like Owen that much in the beginning but he grew on me. Una Everlasting is awesome. Sheβs got a very Briene of Tarth vibe to her and Briene of Tarth was one of my favorite Game of Thrones characters
